I've been going to Sammy's for years. His food is some of the best Italian in City, and you can't go wrong with BYOB. My favorites are the calamari with ginger sauce, house salad vinegrette, Chicken Rossano, Chicken Abruzzi, and caramel flan. Though, I've tried several dishes on the menu and never had a bad meal. The service is friendly and promt, and I like their comfortable, lively atmosphere. Definitely worth experiencing.
We were just there Friday 6/8. Easily in the top 5 the best Italian dinners we've ever had. Sea scallops were done PERFECTLY, delicious sauce, beautiful presentation. Wait staff were attentive and courteous, very helpful with menu selections and questions. Not sure what happened to the one star customer that night, but we had a delightful experience and would go back any time. Thank you, Sammy's!
Went here for the first time, and it was simply incredible. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. I don't go to Italian places often, and this place was worth breaking my normal routine of places to eat. This restaurant is a must visit if you are in the Harrisburg area!
